| Human trafficking,
being a serious crime, needs to be investigated
further. This is because there is need to get
to the root of the problem. Everyone knows that
trafficking takes place, and several traffickers
have been arrested in the US and other countries,
but there is little that reveals how exactly people
are smuggled into the country. Surely, there must
be some way of detecting if a person is legally
or illegally entering the country.
It is observed that documentation organized by
traffickers themselves is carried out well enough
to be original. Since trafficking can hardly be
traced through documentation when a person enters
a country, it is worth investigating how often
people are interrogated or asked simple questions
regarding their origin and visit in another country.
For those entering the US, as an example, it is
worth investigating how many non-English speaking
individuals are interviewed. Apparently, there
are several individuals entering the US and other
countries with apparent original documents, and
none of them can speak English.
If interviews are conducted for individuals coming
from non-English speaking countries, the nature
of questions asked also need to be analyzed, as
this would reveal how intensively authorities
are on the lookout for victims of trafficking.
In addition to this, it is said that there are
victims that are brought in by the hundred on
shipping vessels of crossing the border in vehicles
after stopping at other nearby destinations. In
view of this, there is need to investigate how
searches are carried out with vessels and other
transportation approaching US and other countries’
borders.
